The evolution of safety in the workplace has taken many strides in the last decade. Technology, better training, and a focus on the employees' role and participation in safety are among a few of the achievements.  At Beam, each new employee prior to entering a Beam controlled worksite is required to complete a safety orientation. While traditional orientations focus on a citation of the OSHA regulations, what not to do, or the penalties for violating safety rules at a site, Beam focuses on developing a work culture driven by safety through engaging employees to understand their role at a worksite besides just being there to work.  Our approach has a single goal, which is to create an environment where:
